The terms that apply when you book a trial lesson or enrol your child with Think Big Academy.

These terms apply when you book a free trial lesson, an onboarding call, or enrol your child in an ongoing program with Think Big Academy. By booking a session or using the website, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and your child. If you don't agree, please don't use these services.
Who these terms are for
Think Big Academy provides online group tutoring for students in Years 3–10. Services are booked and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and for their child's participation in sessions.
Booking a free trial
Submitting the trial booking form does not itself book a session — it starts the process. An SMS and email will follow with a link to book a short onboarding call, after which your child will be placed in the right group and their first free trial lesson confirmed. The free trial lesson requires no payment and no ongoing commitment.
Rescheduling and cancellations
Plans change. An onboarding call or session can be rescheduled using the link included in confirmation and reminder messages, or by making contact directly. As much notice as possible is appreciated, so the spot can be offered to another family.
Ongoing enrolment and fees
The trial lesson is free. If a family chooses to continue beyond the trial, pricing, scheduling, and payment arrangements will be discussed directly before any fees apply. No charges are made without first being agreed to.
The Parent, Student & Teacher Portal
Enrolled families get access to a portal showing session summaries, progress notes, and Big Five skill tracking. Login credentials are personal to your family — please keep them secure and don't share them with anyone outside your household. Think Big Academy is not responsible for access resulting from a shared or compromised password.
Live sessions and conduct
Sessions are delivered live online in a small group setting. Students and families are expected to engage respectfully with teachers and other families. Sessions may be rescheduled, group placement adjusted, or, in serious cases, a child's enrolment may be discontinued if this expectation isn't met.
Teaching materials
The Big Five framework, curriculum materials, and other content created by Think Big Academy remain its intellectual property. Families are welcome to use them for their child's learning; they're not to be copied or redistributed for other purposes without permission.
Communications
By booking with Think Big Academy, you agree to be contacted by phone, SMS, and email regarding your enquiry, bookings, and your child's sessions. See the Privacy Policy for how personal information is handled.
Limitation of liability
Think Big Academy is committed to delivering a high-quality tutoring program, but specific academic results can't be guaranteed, as these depend on many factors outside its control. To the extent permitted by law, liability for any claim relating to these services is limited to the fees paid for that service, if any.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the services offered. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the services after an update means the revised terms are accepted.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
